Reiki Practitioner, Pachacuti Mesa Carrier
I have been studying the Pachacuti Mesa tradition since 2008. It is an earth-honoring, shamanic tradition from the indigenous people of Chile and Peru brought to America by Don Oscar Miro Quesada. I have been a Reiki practitioner since 2009. Over the years, these traditions and teachings have become my spiritual and emotional anchor. Through a variety of upheavals, either sitting in meditation at my Mesa (my alter that holds the energy of the Pachacuti teachings); or giving myself or others Reiki, has cleared my mind, calmed my spirit and reminded me I am surrounded by loving friends and a limitless Source. Further study introduced me to Shamanic energy healing practices, which I have also incorporated into my life and helping others. What I have found on my journey is a profound connection to the Divine, a rich connection to myself and an awareness of the energetic world around us. My intention, by bringing what I’ve learned to others, is they experience the discovery of who they are, let go of what no longer serves them and move into their own authenticity.

Reiki is a natural method of energy balancing for the purpose of stress reduction and relaxation. It can involve "the laying on of hands"
although this is not required for Reiki to be effective.
Reiki is not a substitute for traditional medical treatment. If someone has a serious health imbalance they should see a Doctor or other appropriate professional and make complementary healing part of a complete health care program. Reiki treatment does not use any tissue manipulation or massage and does not ever involve sexual contact of any kind under any circumstance. Unethical people have been known to abuse other people under the pretext of spiritual, holistic and complementary healing. Such people should be reported to authorities promptly.
Energy therapy is a natural method of energy balancing, but is not meant as a substitute for medical, or psychological, diagnosis and treatment.
Energy practitioners do not diagnose conditions, nor do they perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional unless they have received training in such a licensed professional practice that supports this. This type of skill is not a part of a normal certified Reiki training program.
Energy therapy or any other natural healing therapy should not compete with medical doctors and their treatments. While it can be used entirely on its own, Reiki can be used together with any other form of medical, natural or alternative therapy in order to complement traditional medical treatments.
Reiki is meant only to complement medical treatments and not to replace them.
I strongly recommended you see a licensed physician, GP or other licensed health care professional for any physical or psychological ailment whether it be acute or chronic that you may be suffering from or suspect that you may have.
